We provide the vendor list as a courtesy to our members for informational purposes only, and the list is not exhaustive. We encourage land trusts to do their research to determine the vendor or solution that will best suit their unique needs. 

DJI Mavic 2

DJI Mavic 2 is the most common drone used by the land trust community.

Drone Deploy is an app that supports most commercial hardware that allows for creating flight plans and viewing photos captured in real time. There are added features for modeling and reporting. They offer a discount subscription for nonprofits.

Independent operators

In many areas, local aviation or drone-based companies provide opportunities for land trusts to access aerial imagery as well as, in some cases, LiDAR or multispectral data. While some operators exclusively provide access to imagery and data, some also provide additional analysis and consulting services.
