The Land Trust Alliance and Massachusetts Land Trust Coalition are excited to provide a new short-course for Massachusetts land trusts to learn how to build a strategic fundraising program. This training is being led by David Allen of Development for Conservation. 

During four 75-minute virtual sessions, we’ll cover basic fundraising concepts, basic planning protocols, tools to develop strategic fundraising plans, approaches to fundraising from individual donors and funders, fundraising events and more to give you the tactics you need to better engage with people and raise more money. Additionally, to extend your learning, we will hold three peer calls post-training.

  • Learning sessions will be held virtually on Zoom from 4-5:15 p.m. Eastern on May 2, 9, 23 and 29.

  • Optional peer sessions will be held virtually on Zoom from 4-5 p.m. Eastern on June 26, July 31 and August 28.

Can’t make one of the dates? All registrants will receive recording links within a week after each session.

The cost of this training is over $200 per person, but thanks to the generous support from an Anonymous Foundation, your cost is $50 per organization as an Alliance and/or MLTC member or $75 for non-member organizations.

If you are a member of the Alliance, the discounted rate will automatically be applied to your registration. If you are not a member of the Alliance but are a member of the Massachusetts Land Trust Coalition, please reach out to Barbara Chrenko for a discount code.
