Camp Williams is a National Guard training site south of Salt Lake City, Utah. The military installation is surrounded by working lands and wildlife habitats that are vital to our national security and for species to survive.
The West Traverse Community Partnership worked with federal, state and local agencies to help preserve this space. The Conservation Fund and the National Guard Bureau entered a Cooperative Agreement to help preserve the land surrounding Camp Williams. This partnership will ensure that the working landscapes and wildlife habitat adjacent to Camp Williams will be protected.
