There are over 100 Alliance member conservation organizations in the Golden State serving more than 55 million people. These land trusts protect forests, deserts, coastlines and rivers that support wildlife. They conserve farm and ranchlands critically important to the state’s economy and heritage. And they provide access to parklands and preserves with hundreds of miles of trails for hiking, biking and wildlife watching for millions of locals and visitors.
