​​Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast protects the land and water in Southwest Florida for the benefit of people and nature. Earlier this year, a sensitive beach-front preserve owned by the Conservation Foundation was jeopardized by a boundary dispute between two adjoining neighbors. The lawsuit could have forever re-drawn the Preserve boundaries and negatively affected sensitive nesting areas for the threatened snowy plover. However, the Conservation Foundation and their legal team successfully defended the preserve by intervening in the suit and defending their rights.
