About This Publication
The Center for Large Landscape Conservation is the hub of a growing global movement to reverse the fragmentation of the earth’s landscapes and restore nature’s resilience to climate change. They network and collaborate with experts, practitioners and local communities. This interactive policy brief highlights advocacy opportunities for the conservation community to increase connectivity, supporting ecosystem services and movement of organisms, genetic material and ecological processes, and provide important benefits to both human and wildlife populations at a landscape scale. This report highlights opportunities at the state level to support wildlife connectivity to support biodiversity at an ecosystem level, which can help reduce risks to species and communities as the climate warms and impacts of climate change intensify.
