Minnick v. Hawley Troxell Ennis and Hawley (Judicial Opinion)

Posted 2017
About This Legal Opinion

Judicial opinion on legal malpractice suit against attorney as a result of the IRS disallowing a tax deduction. The court found that the claim was barred by the statute of limitations. The court held that the cause of action dated from the date the plaintiff retained new counsel--not from the date the IRS inquired about the subordination of the mortgage.
