Madison Land Conservation Trust sued landowner for negligence, common law trespass, violation CEPA and violation of Ct. General Statutes sec52-560a (penalties for trespass on conservation land). The court agreed awarding attorneys fees of $26,000 (reduced from $75,000) and costs of $2,600 (reduced from $10,800) to MLCT.
