About This Webinar

Happy Pride Month! How does your land trust serve the LGBTQ+? Like many marginalized communities, it can be easy to overlook the specific needs of the LGBTQ+ community if you aren’t being intentional about it. Join Joe Toolan from the Chesapeake Bay Trust and Forrest Cortes from the Nature Conservancy to learn about barriers to access and how to incorporate members of your local LGBTQ+ community into your decision making. We will also hear from Todd Farrington at the Big Sur Land Trust on how they serve the community through their summer camps for LGBTQ+ youth.

In this webinar, you will learn about:

  • the intersection of LGBTQ+ and environmental issues

  • incorporating the LGBTQ+ community into decision making

  • how other organizations have found success serving the LGBTQ+ community
