Conservation Easement Negotiation
Source
About This Guidance
Each of the parties to a transaction has a unique role to play in the negotiation and drafting of an easement, and with a thorough understanding of individual roles and responsibilities, a conservation easement transaction becomes less complex and more efficient. The duty of explaining, and perhaps assigning, these roles often falls to the land trust, so the following discussion describes each of these aspects of project development.
