About This Event
The Land Trust Alliance's New York Office is pleased to offer this Lunch and Learn session with Julia Rogers, senior land protection manager at Housatonic Valley Association and Kate Losey, remote monitoring project manager at the Alliance.
The scale and pace of climate change can be difficult to understand and track on the ground, but understanding these changes is important for evaluating risks and making land protection and stewardship decisions. Remote monitoring technologies have become more accessible and affordable for land trusts. During this session, presenters will share examples and applications of current remote sensing technologies that can be used by your land trust for decision-making, monitoring climate change and restoration impacts and actions on the landscape.
