About This Webinar
The 2026 Online Learning Pass is the easiest, most cost-effective way for your land conservation organization to provide training to staff, board and volunteers. Your entire organization will receive $0 registration to our 2026 catalog of live webinars and online learning events, as well as access to our entire back catalog of webinar recordings. Topics are curated to appeal to our members’ staff, board and volunteers at all experience levels. Here’s what a pass unlocks:
$0 registration on all Alliance-hosted webinars and online classes during calendar year 2026. We are planning at least 15 webinars and three online classes and short courses. Without a pass, these cost $75 - $270 per registrant. We’ll let you run the math on how much your organization can save.
New learning formats: Online classes and short courses are included, because some topics need more than 90 minutes.
Yes, this is being recorded. As always, webinar, online class and short course registration includes access to the recording and materials. Watch or re-watch at your convenience. Recordings and materials stay on the Resource Center at least until December 2027.
Forgot to register for a webinar? Webinar recordings are available even if you didn’t register for the live event. We know you’re busy.
New this year: No cap on number of registrations per webinar. You can still squeeze a bunch of folks in your conference room for a watch party if you want to, though.
New this year: Webinar recording back catalog included. We host a lot of webinars, and we let some of the really good ones stick around on the Resource Center for a long time. The 2026 pass grants $0 access to those recordings as well, instead of $60 - $75 per recording.

Frequently asked questions
What’s the difference between a webinar and an online class or short course?
Alliance webinars are 60-90 minutes, always recorded, and designed so that you get a similar learning experience whether you attend live or watch the recording. Attending live does give you a chance to ask instructors questions! Online classes and short courses can be different lengths, include multiple sessions on the same topic, and are designed so that attending live gives you the best learning experience. They are usually recorded to supplement attending the live instruction.
Are your online learning events accessible?
All live online learning events have closed captions and transcripts provided by Zoom. Recordings of events have captions and transcripts provided by Vimeo. We make every effort to provide event materials like slides the day before the event. We always post event materials with the recording after the event. We provide our instructors with an accessibility best practices toolkit for creating presentations and presenting online. If you have particular access needs (ex. alternative materials formats) please contact Abi Locatis Prochaska or answer the accessibility question when your register for an event so we can work together to create the best experience that we can for you.
Is there a registration cap for online classes and short courses?
Depending on course design, the Alliance may cap the total number of participants in an online class or short course to improve learner experience. The Alliance may also restrict the number of registrants from each organization to maximize attendance across our membership. If we find there is high demand for a course with limited spaces, we may consider hosting the course again.
What happens if someone new joins my team after we buy a pass?
Anyone new to your team should create a user account on the Resource Center and include your account name so they can receive member benefits. Once their account is created, they will receive information about how to use the pass.
Does it matter when in the year we buy the pass?
The 2026 Online Learning Pass provides $0 registration for live attendance at webinars and online classes produced in calendar year 2026. Most organizations find it best to purchase the pass early in the year, however it can be valuable to purchase the pass at any point if you have several team members interested in live events or recordings. Your organization receives $0 access to webinar recordings hosted prior to pass purchase no matter when you buy the pass. We do not pro-rate the pass fee.
We bought a pass. Now what happens?
You and your colleagues will receive information via email on how to use the pass. Make sure your Organization Administrator(s) have updated your organization's roster on the Resource Center so all team members receive information. Your team members should be able to register themselves for live events for $0, and should be able to access webinar recordings for $0. It may take up to 24 hours for our system to connect pass benefits to your team members' accounts.
My organization is not buying a pass. Am I still able to attend Alliance webinars and online trainings without a pass?
Yes! For paid online learning events, you will be charged the member or non-member registration price depending on your membership status. We also offer several events that are included in membership (free to members only) and free to everyone events each year. We also offer self-paced online courses and written learning materials for members on the Resource Center.

Online learning pass cancellation policy
Organizations can cancel the online learning pass until the date of the first live online learning event. Past that date, cancellations and refunds will not be provided.
