    The application for scholarships has closed. Thank you to everyone that applied! Notifications of decisions will be emailed the week of July 13.

    Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, the Alliance is able to offer a limited number of scholarships to help reduce the financial barrier for participants and presenters to attend Rally.  

    As the community of people and organizations engaged in land conservation grows, Rally has welcomed more early career professionals and first-time attendees, those not yet employed in conservation, and volunteers and community members partnering with our members. Scholarship support helps make Rally more accessible for people who might not ordinarily attend and who bring unique experiences, perspectives and expertise that expand our thinking and enrich the discussions we have as a conservation community.  

    Rally scholarships can be awarded to both organizations and individuals. 

    Please note if you are planning to attend the First Stewards Summit as well as the full Rally conference, you only need to complete the First Stewards registration form when it opens in late May and not a separate scholarship application.

    Important information for all applicants

    • Scholarship award amounts are not guaranteed and will be based on the total number of applications received and funding available.

      If awarded, amounts are typically enough to cover partial or full registration fees, and/or travel assistance. 

    • The Alliance is only able to make payments to U.S. based organizations and individuals.

    • If an organization plans to cover the cost of sending multiple attendees to Rally, please only submit one scholarship application per organization.

      If an award is received, one reimbursement payment will be made out to the organization. There is a question within the application about how many people the organization plans to send to Rally in total. 

    • Applications from presenting faculty members/session panelists will be given priority consideration.
