City of Missoula Open Space Program

The Open Space Program at the Missoula Department of Parks and Recreation works with local landowners, public and private organizations, land managers, and a variety of other groups to preserve open space in the greater Missoula area. The city passed an open space bond in 2018 which includes funds for fee simple acquisitions, conservation easements, trails and trail easements, river restoration, and other related uses.
