Centre for Land Conservation

The Centre for Land Conservation (CLC) is Canada’s institute for land conservation research and policy development and the stewards of the Canadian Land Trust Standards and Practices. The CLC champions a whole landscape, whole of society approach to conservation. As an independent organization, the CLC is able to move quickly and work across sectors to realize more, better and faster conservation in Canada through collaborative research and inclusive policy development. By taking a collaborative approach to research CLC aims to paint a clear picture of the crucial conservation work being done in Canada as well as highlight innovative approaches and new technologies towards developing resilient landscapes.
