About This Sample

The following identifies a number of key issues a land trust should consider in drafting or reviewing nonprofit organization bylaws. These are suggestions for consideration only. A land trust may not need to or choose to address every item listed in its bylaws. Some of these matters may be addressed in the articles of incorporation or in land trust policies. Some may not be relevant. This process should be guided by a knowledgeable attorney.
