Reenergizing Your Board

It’s no secret that the last two years have been, at best, exhausting. Yet in the face of the pandemic and climate change, the work of land trusts has only grown in importance and urgency.

Join us in this engaging session as we explore and co-develop strategies to help your board maintain momentum through this era of exhaustion. Grounded in the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy’s Competency Model for Nonprofit Leadership and the Land Trust Standards and Practices, participants will:

• evaluate the various stages of nonprofit organization lifecycles and reflect on their organization;

• discuss and share strategies for moving from a disengaged board to a high performing board; and

• chart out next steps for implementing lessons learned.

Though open to all, the content will be most relevant to those currently serving on a board and executive directors.
