Brookline Conservation Land Trust v Board of Assessors

Posted 2017 Reviewed June 29, 2022
About This Legal Opinion

The Board erred in ruling that public access to the use of conservation land is required by the statute; under the well-established rile that an institution's property will be exempt where the dominant purpose of its work is for the public good and where it occupies the real estate for the purpose for which it was incorporated that BCLT property is exempt.
