Seeing the forest for the trees at Schor

Project goals include creating a mix of trees of different species and ages, reducing the impact of white-tailed deer and removing undesirable plant species. This work was funded by the Quailwood Fund of the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, the New York State Conservation Partnership Program and New York's Environmental Protection Fund — NYSCPP is administered by the Land Trust Alliance, in coordination with the state Department of Environmental Conservation.
