How land trusts in towns across CT are helping to protect our wild places

Connecticut would not be the same without its 130 individual and regional land trusts, devoted as they are to conservation. In addition to small-town land trusts, Connecticut also boasts regional conservation organizations and national entities with chapters that serve the state, such as the Land Trust Alliance, a national umbrella organization for American land trusts, and the Trust for Public Land.
