Congress may curb abuses of this charitable deduction used by the wealthy

Conservation easements allow wealthy Americans to claim deductions for preserving land, however, some may be using the deductions to escape tax obligations. Now, a congressional proposal has been reintroduced to help the government clamp down on these abuses.
