Wildlife corridor plan seeks to link protected lands from Lake Ontario to Southern Tier

To help all local wildlife expand their populations and ensure genetic mixing, the Western New York Land Conservancy is creating a corridor of land from Lake Ontario to the Southern Tier. “The Western New York Wildway is our big landscape-scale conservation plan to connect the largest remaining habitats in Western New York to each other and other regions, including Pennsylvania."
