Trump administration freezes $21.25 million grant to Jackson Hole Land Trust

A “monumental” $21.25 million federal grant to fund conservation easements in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem is currently frozen, as the Trump administration’s U.S. Department of Agriculture reviews grant funding allocated by the Biden administration. The funding was awarded to the Jackson Hole Land Trust and others to protect up to 20,000 acres of private land.
