Tall Pines Conservancy announces permanent protection of Lake Five property

Once the summer home of the Pfister-Vogel family, this secluded 82-acre lakeside property in the Town of Richfield is stewarded by the Midwest Jesuits. The main house and a series of cottages and other historical structures serve as a spiritual retreat center for the Jesuit community. Due to its ongoing care, the surrounding land remains an extremely valuable, high-quality ecosystem, and serves as an important buffer to protect the water quality and wildlife habitat associated with Lake Five.
