Siskiyou Land Conservancy receives 183-acre donation for Mad River restoration project

The previous property owner, Ken Miller, has been working with the Siskiyou Land Conservancy to restore the land since 2016, clearing old logging roads of harmful debris, replacing clogged culverts with bridges and restoring woodland negatively impacted by timber operations. 70% of the domestic water people are drinking for Humboldt County comes from the Mad River
