Santa Clara partners with Virgin River Land Trust to preserve iconic lava fields

The first parcel slated for preservation is a portion of the iconic Tuacahn Wash, known locally as the Santa Clara Lava Fields. The proposed conservation zone includes approximately 135 acres of lava rock terrain and native desert vegetation, along with a short arboretum trail loved by local walkers and nature enthusiasts.
