Pitkin, Eagle and land trust buying 4,000 acres

Pitkin and Eagle counties and Aspen Valley Land Trust announced their plan to partner and acquire Three Meadows Ranch, a 4,251-acre property located in Eagle County. The land is largely unirrigated, meaning a majority of the property is home to native flora and fauna — including sagebrush, oak, wetlands, aspen forests, mule deer, and an elk herd of over 300.
