More than $5.4 million in restoration project funding announced for North Florida springs

The projects will convert Lake City’s Steedley Sprayfield to approximately 50 acres of treatment wetlands and protect surface water critical to Nuttall Rise, a first-magnitude spring, as well as the Wacissa and Aucilla rivers.
