Major conservation milestone achieved as 1,439-acre Pinnacle Mountains West safeguarded

Foothills Conservancy of North Carolina took a significant step in preserving Western North Carolina’s natural landscape by conveying a conservation easement to the North Carolina Land and Water Fund. These areas are critical for wildlife and biodiversity and contribute to the future Wilderness Gateway State Trail.
