Largest conservation easement gifted in Laurens County history

The 2,000-acre Creekland Farms borders the Sumter National Forest and has raised cattle, chickens and thoroughbred horses throughout multiple generations of its family ownership. Keeping it rural provides a buffer to that core forest and serves as an extension to the wildlife habitat it provides.
