Land trust receives 62 acres on the shores of Beaver Lake

The Northwest Arkansas Land Trust announced 62 acres currently operating as a cattle farm on Beaver Lake is now under a conservation easement. The Beaver Water District, which provides water from the lake to cities in the region, contributed an undisclosed amount of long-term money for the easement as part of its source water protection strategy.
