Kurtz land donation marks 100th milestone for Eagle River-based conservation group

Jan Kurtz made a generous donation of a conservation easement to Northwoods Land Trust on July 24, protecting 22 acres of land and more than 1,200 feet of natural shoreline on Julia Lake in the Town of Hiles, Forest County. What makes Kurtz’s donation particularly special is that it is the 100th conservation easement donation to the land trust.
