Kittyhawk Orchards to finalize permanent conservation easement

A 267-acre almond and walnut orchard on Chico’s north side will be permanently protected from development under a newly finalized conservation easement. The orchard property is described as one of the few agricultural in-holdings in a rapidly urbanizing area of Chico.
