Generations of forest protection for family in Door County

A forest planted by a Danish forest manager all the way back in the 1800s is now part of a Door County family's conservation legacy. Last October, Carl J. "Buzz" and Stephany Madsen protected 38 acres of partially forested land bordering the Village of Sister Bay through a conservation agreement with Door County Land Trust.
