Finger Lakes town gets new waterfront park

The Village of Aurora announced the creation of a new park featuring 1,100 feet of scenic frontage on Cayuga Lake. Grace Bates, a member of Finger Lakes Land Trust, donated the property with the intent of creating a park for public enjoyment. Bates also donated a conservation easement that includes public access and protections for scenic views and wildlife habitat.
