Farmer’s donation saves 216 acres from development near Ann Arbor

An Ann Arbor area farmer’s generosity has saved hundreds of acres of farmland, woods, and rolling hills from future development. Farmer Jacob Haas has donated a conservation easement for Legacy Land Conservancy to permanently protect about 216 acres of land he owns on the north side in Lima Township.
