The agricultural heritage and critical wildlife habitat at Hawk Ranch, a 270-acre property in Delta County beneath Needle Rock, will be permanently protected according to Colorado West Land Trust. In addition to its agricultural use, the property also provides diverse habitats for elk, mule deer, turkey, black bear and other native species, enriching the region’s ecological health.
