Conservation easement protects wildlife habitat

More than 80 acres of wildlife habitat on the North Fork are now protected under an easement with Park County Open Lands. The easement represents an important first step for PCOL’s work on the North Fork, setting the stage for the conservation of agricultural lands and key habitats for migratory wildlife and agricultural lands.
