'A tremendous gift': Finger Lakes Land Trust now protects former Wells College land

Members of the Ithaca-based Finger Lakes Land Trust partnered with the Village of Aurora on May 19 to announce the creation of a new park along the shores of Cayuga Lake. A recent statement from the nonprofit organization states that the park will be situated on land formerly managed by Wells College and feature 1,100 feet of shoreline across four acres.
