Historic and environmental preservation. Scott Conservancy is a 501(c) (3) organization dedicated to environmental and historic preservation serving Scott Township and surrounding communities. Our goals include the preservation of green space and the promotion of appreciation of nature and environmental education. We currently own and are protecting over 81.5 acres of green space in Scott Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. The Kane Woods Nature Area is 78.5 acres and contains numerous natural and historic features. The land is open and free to the public to use.
