The New Hartford Land Trust (NHLT) is an all-volunteer, private, nonprofit membership organization dedicated to preserving and protecting farmland, forest, and other open space and natural resources as well as unique scenic, natural and historic sites in New Hartford, Connecticut. NHLT achieves this by working with landowners and allied organizations to conserve lands with significant wildlife habitat, water resources and other important conservation values as well as opportunities for access to public hiking trails.
