Founded in 1972, the Granby Land Trust works to preserve Granby's natural heritage through the conservation of its scenic and historic vistas, open space corridors, wildlife habitat, ecologically sensitive areas, and agricultural land. We seek to achieve this mission through strategic land acquisition, responsible land stewardship, effective partnerships with other land conservation organizations, public education, and advocacy for environmentalism and conservation. The GLT maintains public trails on a number of its properties. Providing our community with opportunities to connect with nature is important to us.
