Executive Director of Operations

Part of our senior leadership team, this position provides strategic financial guidance and operational oversight to support our mission to conserve the land essential to Sheffield's natural, scenic, agricultural, and rural character for the benefit of the community and future generations.
Reporting to the board and working closely with the executive director of land protection, our committees and dozens of volunteers, this role is responsible for overseeing the essential functions of finance, stewardship, outreach and administration and to help lead the organization’s continued growth.
SLT is a respected, member-supported 501(c)(3) conservation nonprofit serving Sheffield since 1989. SLT has conserved more than 5,000 acres and completed more than 60 conservation projects protecting the region’s forests, farmland, and recreational landscapes.
