Development Officer

Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy is a regional urban land conservancy dedicated to conserving, protecting, and stewarding natural open space across the San Gabriel and Crescenta Valleys of Southern California. We focus on restoring native ecosystems, enhancing biodiversity and reestablishing wildlife corridors that allow animals — from mountain lions to butterflies — to move safely between fragmented habitat islands and the vast San Gabriel Mountains. Through strategic land acquisition guided by a rigorous prioritization matrix, AFC owns and stewards more than 92 acres across 19 properties, including six community-centered preserves.

In this hybrid position, our development officer will be a member of AFC’s development and communications team, focused primarily on the organization’s annual fundraising efforts. They will coordinate the solicitation and stewardship of annual and special event donors and assist in grant research, application and administration. The development officer will work closely with the development director to ensure that fundraising goals for all sources of revenue are being met to support the continued success and growth of the organization.
