Agricultural Outreach Associate

TVC’s agricultural outreach associate will work to secure permanent protection of agricultural and open space lands in the Tri-Valley region of the San Francisco Bay Area. As a key member of the TVC conservation and stewardship team, the associate will lead and support programs to promote agricultural viability in the Tri-Valley; support stewardship activities on existing agricultural conservation easements; build relationships with new landowners, including ranchers and vineyard owners; identify opportunities for habitat enhancement or restoration on agricultural lands; represent TVC at public events, field days, and educational programs; and more. The ideal candidate will be committed to TVC’s mission to promote economically sustainable vineyards and orchards, and increase permanently protected, biologically diverse open spaces in the Tri-Valley.
