The mission of Ventura Land Trust is to permanently protect the land, water, wildlife and scenic beauty of the Ventura region for current and future generations. VLT protects and manages over 3,800 acres of land in the Ventura hillsides, Ventura River, and coastal estuary. Outdoor education programs for children foster a connection to the natural world. Ventura Land Trust acknowledges that the lands currently in its care are the ancestral and unceded territory of the Chumash people.
