Part-Time Executive Director
Brooklyn Queens Land Trust
This position's purpose will be to lead our organization in fulfilling its mission. The director will work closely with the board of directors, staff, volunteers and community members to advance the goals of BQLT and ensure the continued success of our program.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and direction to the organization in alignment with its mission and goals.
Oversee day-to-day operations, including staff management, program development and financial management.
Develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure grants, donations and sponsorships to support BQLT’S programs and initiatives.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with community partners, government agencies, funders and other stakeholders.
Represent BQLT in public forums, meetings and events to raise awareness of our work and advocate for policies that support urban agriculture and green spaces.
