Community Engagement Associate

The community engagement associate is a 40 hours/week position that provides core support for Deschutes Land Trust community engagement activities. This includes assisting with the writing and production of communications materials (print and digital), implementing social media content, staffing and engaging with the community at Central Oregon events, and providing support for volunteer programs. The position requires two years’ experience in communications or marketing (or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field), as well as previous experience drafting brand-aligned content, an ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing, a strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
