Buy Fresh Buy Local Coordinator

The Piedmont Environmental Council is seeking Buy Fresh Buy Local coordinator, who will successfully update and produce PEC’s three print Buy Fresh Buy Local chapter publications: Loudoun County, Northern Piedmont, and Charlottesville Area (which includes Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa and Nelson counties). Buy Fresh Buy Local helps connect residents to local food throughout our region and provide local producers a venue for promoting their products. This position also monitors VA Food MarketMaker, the BFBL database tool, to ensure it is operational for BFBL participants, helps users with their listings as needed, and coordinates with MarketMaker administration to troubleshoot technical issues.

This is a part-time, temporary position that will work approximately 25 hours per week over the course of a none-month period, likely from October 2026 through June 2027. The salary is $25 per hour. Find out more information at www.pecva.org/apply.
