Legacy gifts (also known as “planned gifts”) are a powerful way anyone can help make sure our beautiful open spaces remain open and beautiful. There is no greater gift you can give to future generations.

The Land Trust Alliance is committed to helping our nation's land trusts be strong and valued community organizations capable of conserving the land we need and love for generations to come. One of the Alliance’s core values is enduring conservation: ensuring the places we save today are protected forever.

Your will or living trust is an important way to provide for family and friends, plan the management and disposition of your estate and ensure that your passion for land conservation is permanently reflected in the beautiful places in communities across the country.

Join others with a gift through your will to ensure that the lands and water you love will be here for generations to come.

If you are interested in more information about the Land Trust Alliance’s Legacy Society, bequests or other ways to make a planned gift, please call Mindy Milby Tuttle, director of principal giving, at mtuttle@lta.org or 202-800-2212.

It’s always important to consult with your financial and legal advisors when making these decisions for the future.
